On the 24.4.2018 we played Gaelic football. Two coaches from Ireland, Patrick and Peter, came to the school to train us how to play Gaelic football . We were divided into two groups and each coach had his own group to train. Later on, the two groups played a match together.
Gaelic Football is Ireland's national sport dating from the 16th century. Each side has 15 players who may kick, punch, or pass the ball, but not throw it. Players may not pick the ball up from the ground; it may be carried for four paces, and then has to be bounced, kicked or punched away.
It was a very fun-filled afternoon which we all thoroughly enjoyed. So big thanks to "Vienna Gaels" for the training session!
